Since there are a few gluten-free guests joining us for our "Taste of Tuscany" adventure in June 2022, I decided to test some traditional family dessert recipes and convert them into gluten-free alternatives for our welcome dinner.
For our family dinner last night, I made one in particular that I truly love with several modifications but, I did get two thumbs up from everyone! So for those of your joining us in Tuscany, here is a gluten-free mandarin almond cake topped chocolate ganache and roasted hazelnuts! I am also going to make a similar cake using blood oranges. Get ready.... it's a great one that is definitely going to be a recipe for my next cookbook!
