This is a very momentous and blessed moment in my life because I get to collaborate with two incredible individuals whom I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for many years and that I absolutely adore - Dr. Jeffrey Bland and Kelly Bland.
Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat (HTB for short) Super Nutrition Flour will be available soon from Big Bold Health!
Despite the name, HTB is a gluten-free seed unrelated to wheat. In fact, it’s more similar to the rhubarb and sorrel family of vegetables than it is to most grains with very impressive features:
High in protein
High in antioxidants
It is loaded with magnesium, zinc and various B vitamins
High in soluble and insoluble fiber to help support gut health
Contains high levels of immune- supportive phytonutrients (plant derived molecules and compounds that may support better human health) and help regenerate healthy soil.
HTB is incredibly resilient, capable of surviving harsh environments.
I can go on and on about HTB, but it’s much more enjoyable to actually taste this amazing ancient crop. Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat Super Nutrition Flour can be used in a wide variety of recipes and I’ve had the pleasure of creating some of the recipes which, according to my taste testers, are absolutely divine!
