'Mise En Place' - A Useful & Important Kitchen Technique

There are many incredible things we were taught in Culinary School, but the one thing that I always found incredibly helpful in the kitchen is a technique called 'Mise En Place' - a French phrase that literally means, "put in place" or, in other words, gathering and arranging ingredients, kitchen tools and equipment before you begin.


Before this practice, my kitchen was a disaster, but this method helped me in more ways than you can imagine.
