Pasta With Shrimp And Cherry Tomatoes!

Today I’m sharing with you one of my favorite recipes that is quick, easy and very flavorful! A dish that can be in made under 30 minutes and perfect for when life gets busy. We used fresh pasta, but feel free to use any pasta your heart desires!

Servings: 4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes


  • 1 pound (1 box) Spaghetti or Linguini

  • 1 pound Fresh Shrimps peeled, deveined

  • 4 to 5 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil

  • Pinch of red chili pepper

  • 1 garlic clove, cut in half (or more)

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, cut in quarters

  • 1 teaspoon Capers - washed well and drained

  • 1/2 cup dried natural black olives or Gaeta olives, whole (you can use less but we love them and always add more)

  • 1/2 glass white wine

  • 2 tablespoons pasta cooking water

  • Salt to taste

  • 1/4 cup fresh Parsley, chopped (optional)


  1. Using a large high-sided skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, then add garlic, chili pepper, and sauté for a few minutes. Add tomatoes, capers, olives and sauté for about 5 minutes. Add shrimp, white wine and cook for 5 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until almost al dente, drain it and place it directly into the skillet with the other ingredients and add two tablespoons of pasta cooking water. Cook for another 2-3 minutes then add chopped parsley.
